It's true! You can get a Toys"R"Us gift card when you trade in your used games!
It's easy…..Here's how:
STEP 1: SEARCH FOR YOUR GAME TITLES
Use the search box to find your games. You can search by either UPC or the
game title. If searching by UPC, be sure to include all 12 digits.
UPC numbers are usually found on the back of the game case under the bar code.
When searching by title, be sure to match the title of the game and the
game system it plays on.
***Please note that it is possible that Toys”R”Us
will not offer trade-in values on certain game titles. If you do not find
your title in the search, it could be that we are currently not offering a trade
at this time.
If you are under 18 years of age, you must have a parent or legal guardian complete the transaction.
STEP 2: ADD YOUR GAME(S) TO THE TRADE-IN CART
Once you have successfully found the games you wish to trade in, review the game
details presented carefully to make sure that:
- The box cover art of the game matches the game you own.
- The game system listed on the box art matches the game you own.
- You have reviewed the trade-in "We Pay" prices that are offered on each product
detail page.
If you've confirmed a match, select the appropriate "Add to Trade-in Cart" link:
- A complete game must include working game (scratches are OK),
original case and cover art. The manual is preferred but not required.
- An incomplete game must include a working game (scratches are OK).The box, artwork and manual are not required.
Incomplete games are accepted online only and not in any Toys”R”Us stores.
If your games are valued $10 or more, shipping is free! Otherwise, a $2.50 shipping charge
will be deducted from the trade-in value.
Once you have repeated these steps for all of the games you wish to trade in,
click "Check Out"
Note: If you are not a registered user you will be asked to create an
account. The mailing address provided during account creation is where your gift
card will be sent. Please enter it carefully so there are no delays in
delivery.
After reviewing the "Toys"R"Us Trade-in Terms & Conditions", click the check box
and then click "Confirm Checkout".
STEP 3: PRINT PRE-PAID USPS SHIPPING LABEL & CUSTOMER TRADE-IN INVOICE
After clicking the "Continue" button, you will be prompted to print the
- Detailed shipping instructions
- Trade-in customer invoice
- Pre-paid USPS shipping label
Carefully follow the instructions on this page.
STEP 4: PACK & SHIP US YOUR GAMES
Be sure to ship your games within 10 days.Games not postmarked within 10 days may
be subject to changes in offered prices.
If there is a discrepancy between the condition claimed and the condition as it
has been evaluated by the Toys”R”Us Trade-in Center, you will be contacted by email
with an explanation. The email will give you the option of a) accepting the
different value, or (b) having the game(s) shipped back to you at your expense.
STEP 5: RECEIVE YOUR GIFT CARD IN THE MAIL!
Gift cards will be mailed to the address provided during account registration.
